Although not identified on the card, this is a picture of Thomas A. Hendricks, who was elected Vice President of the United States in 1884, but only served for eight months. The Democrat died in November 1885. Text on the front: "Vote as you think, but buy your/furniture and undertaking goods,/of/ Cody & Carpenter,/Nos. 22 to 30 Eagle St./No. Adams, Mass./embalming a specialty." The back is blank.
