An envelope sent from the American Zylonite Co., Zylonite, Berkshire Co., Mass. to Herrn C. A. F. Kahlbaum, Chemische Fabrik, Berlin P. O. Germany. It is postmarked "Zylonite, Nov. 23, 1888, Mass." It is stamped with 1 one cent stamp and 2 two cent stamps, all of which are cancelled. There are additional cancellation marks on the back. The American Zylonite Co. operated in Adams, MA from 1881 to 1891. Zylonite is a form of plastic. The envelope is empty.
