A metamorphic card with two flaps. One opens up, the other down. Front: The face of a crying man. Text on the front: "These clothing bills will ruin me!" Top flap opened: Face of a frowning man. Text inside top flap: "Still I am sad, but I have an idea. I'll make a change, and try the firm I hear so many recommending." Top and bottom flaps opened: Face of a smiling man. Text on bottom flap: " Hooray! I've been to Barnard's. I never saw finer goods. They treated me like a lord, and gave me bargains that made me laugh till I cried!" Text on back: "We make them smile! By "them" we mean our customers, of course. They smile at our immense stock! They smile at our elegant goods! They smile at our reasonable prices!
