Description
The College Archives contains materials dealing with the college from its start as a normal school to the present. The North Adams Normal School was founded in 1894 and opened in 1897. In 1932 it became the State Teachers College at North Adams and in 1960 it became North Adams State College. It was named Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts in 1997.
